After school today we had our yearly Christmas fair, and as I am now year 6 (YEY) me and the rest of my class had to make up a stall. In my group for the stall was me, Danielle, Georgia and Eva. It was called Rudolph Rampage and quite a lot of people came over and had a go. It was great fun and would definitely do it again. Plus in the raffle my Mum won £100, (as you could probably guess she was extremely happy about that!) I am also looking forward to the weekend as I am cooking with my Mum and putting the Christmas decorations up!

I am still here!!!

It has been quite a long time since my last post as November had been taken over by my holiday to Florida, and since I have got back I have been catching up on everything.

We went on the 2nd and returned home on the 17th. Our holiday was fabulous. I've never looked forward to something so much. Our accommodation was fantastic, the weather was just right and Disneyland didn't let us down. Every day was a out of this world but some particular highlights were going to all the disney parks, watching the last night flight shuttle to leave Kennedy Space Centre, CRAFT SHOPPING and being at Magical Kingdom wishing the lights on with the fairy Godmother and watching Tinkerbell fly. We are already planning our trip to go back!

HSM3

Tomorrow me and my Mum are going to the cinema to see High School Musical 3 we are both really excited as are a lot of other people especially as this time for the first time its on the BIG screen in cinemas. All the main cast are still in it plus theres more new characters. Also its been said thats its the number 1 movie in America.

Back again!

In my SUMMER HOLIDAYS! post I said that I was going to guide camp in about 2 weeks. I have now been but did not stay for the whole 5 nights. I actually only stayed there for 2 nights because I got desperately homesick and was a very unhappy bunny. Luckily I was aloud to phone my mum on the Payphone at the campsite. I stood there in the pooring rain crying my eyes out on the phone to my mum, my friend Georgia standing with me in the phone box and Lorna (Guide camp leader) standing outside waiting. I asked my mum about only 40 seconds into the phone call if she wanted to speak to Lorna she said she did so I passed the phone over to her. Not long later me and Georgia heard a phone slam back down then Lorna came out of the phone box and told me and Georgia to go back to camp me and mum are quite certain that she hung up on my mum in the phonecall. Plus I didn't even get too say good bye to my mum or say that I loved her, this made me feel even worse. Whilst I was very unhappy and homesick back at camp my mum had managed to text Irene (One of the leaders) and say that she wanted me to go back to the payphone and phone her back up. So Lorna came along and took me back to the payphone to phone my mum back up. When I phoned her she asked me a question that no one else could hear and it was. 'Do you want to come home Lucy?' I replied yes without even thinking about it and she came to come and get me and I was so happy I started crying a little bit. Then together we went to McDonalds and had a Big Mac. YUM YUM!!!

Mamma mia

I have just been to see Mamma Mia the movie. IT TOTALLY ROCKED! There was funny parts and sad parts which made the movie even more entertaining. Some parts were so funny I was in tears!!! Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it and would give it 100/10. Everyone is singing and dancing about it! So I give the whole cast and team who helped to make the movie a huge round of applause and if you go and see it you will too. Its the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life!

SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!!

Sorry I haven't posted lately I have just been busy, busy, busy! Year 5 is now behind me and I am on my summer holidays. HIP HIP HURAY! In a bout 2 weeks I am going to guide camp in walesby which is near Notttingham. So me my Mum and Dad have been searching high and low looking for things for guide camp. I have also been hanging out with all my fantastic friends. On Tuesday I am going to my Grandmas and Grandads plus my cousins are going there too so I am looking forward to that.

Songwriting Competition

In March 08 with my 3 friends India, Eva and Louise we came second in the school songwriting competition. Finally we get to record the song this Thursday and we are getting lots of support from our school. We are recording it in someones house and they have a recording studio. ITS SO EXCITING! But now everyday we have to practice like crazy to get it word and note perfect!

Best of both worlds

I think Miley Cyrus has an interesting but extremely exciting life. She is pop sensation Hannah Montana and the very famous Miley Cyrus. Every song she has written I have loved and she has the most amazing voice. I am always singing her songs wherever I go and always listening to her songs on you tube. Plus she has a new song out called 7 things. My favourite songs of all time by her are...

Sports Day

Today I started my day off by going to rounders club, where we played a match, sadly I didn't get a rounder. After that school started and everyone was getting prepared for our school sports day. All the teachers were running around like headless chickens to make sure the morning would go successfully! We got into our coloured teams ( I was in yellow team) which were split into 3 groups and did mini activities. Then the races began. I was in the shuttle run and 50 metre sprint. Once the races finished we all sat nervously waiting for the result to see who had won sports day 2008. In 3rd place came the reds, in 2nd place came the yellows and in 1st place came the blues for the fourth time in a row. But the main thing is that we all had an action packed fun filled morning!!!
